DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) is not only a topic in current events, it is a business imperative within any organization through intentional initiatives and a strategic approach.
**As part of EO’s mission to support organizational culture and advocacy for inclusion and overall company success, EO LA is striving to advance knowledge and awareness of entrepreneurs with a “Lead with a DEI Mindset” workshop geared for any size company and at any level of leadership.**
~ Highlighting key concepts into business leadership, management and organizational efforts.
~ Strategies that are practical “next steps” for entrepreneurs to implement immediately at their organizations.
~ Key resources will be shared with all attendees including the “DEI Asset Inventory” handout, a practical template for assessing one’s own current DEI environment.

Farzana Nayani (pronouns she/her/hers) is a recognized Diversity, Equity & Inclusion specialist and established Intercultural practitioner. She has worked with Fortune 500 corporations, public agencies, higher education institutions and non-profit organizations as a consultant and trainer on diversity and inclusion, anti-racism, intercultural communication, supplier diversity and employee engagement. Farzana’s advisory work with Employee Resource Groups (ERG’s), small business advocacy and entrepreneurship has taken her to engagements across North America from the White House to Silicon Valley. Her subject matter expertise on global community relations is recognized in her work with institutions such as The Smithsonian and the East-West Center. Farzana has served in national leadership positions as National Director of ERG Relations for the National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP) and Board Director for the Society of Intercultural Education, Training and Research (SIETAR) USA. Farzana’s expertise has been featured in Forbes, DiversityInc., NPR, The Wall Street Journal and the LA Times.
